Perth Trip(Day 5)

DAY 5

Today is the LAST day in Perth. :(

I could not believe that we were eating our last meal at Perth. After eating we went to a Environment centre for a program on built Environment, orgnic garden worm farming and Marine Life rehabilitation.

Finally this was NOT my dream yet......HOME!!! I want to stay!!!!!!I want to stay!!!!!! Never mind i will come back . :(

We soon took off after checking in our lugguage.HOME is Singapore.

Perth Trip(Day 4)

Day 4

We ate our breakfast today at the hotel. After, eating we went to a school named John Septimus Roe Anglican. They teached us many dance moves. They played with us many games too.This School was much different from the one we went before. Finally it was their recess time and we too got to eat too. I was starving after that. The school got us some sandwiches. I actually thought it was lunch but it was not. We had to perform like before and they performed for us many performances. I thought that they were really good!!!

Finally, after all that moving we went to Kings Park. Before that, we ate chicken kebaab. We saw the Australia skyline. It was my first time seeing it. Honestly, it is very nice up here! I feel like i am on top of the world. WE many other more pictures and soon went to the Art Gallery.

We went to the city mall for shopping there. There were many stuff there but i did not buy anything. We went in our coloured cap groups.

Finally we could go back to our apartment and..............zzz.........

Perth Trip(Day 3)

We went close to the Kangaroos and even got to feed them! As touched their fur i really think that it was really soft. Next we went to the Kualas enclosure. There were many Kualas. Some of them were sleeping, some were sitting.We could only touched one particulared one. I touched it!
I learnt that they eat eucalypt leaves and do not like it when someone touches the leaves. I also learnt that it needs at least 20 hours of sleep per day.
After that we went to see the wombat, tasmanian devil,emu, dingo and more.

We went to the Nougat Factory after looking around in the shop and buying stuff.
There were nuts and nougats in the shop. We tasted them and bought them. I bought cashew nuts for my dad.
Finally after looking around, it was Dinner. We had rice that night. I was so happy to get to taste rice again. After dinner, we checked in. And finally.......zzz.......

Perth Trip (Day 3)

3rd Day

Today we woke up ten minutes late! But luckily it was still not soo late yet. I was very excited today as we were visiting a school named Anzac Terrance. :) I quickly changed my clothes into my school uniform as we were told to wear our school uniform today. We had to make sure that we took our stuff and had packed our stuff in order. I was very sure that i had taken my stuff(but left my shampoo and body bath in the toilet) Today we had to say bye to the farm and the owners there as we were not coming back anymore. We thanked them for preparing the activities for us or should i say fun activities. After taking our last wonderful breakfast there we took to Anzac Terrance primary school. The duration was like about 2 hours.

When we reached and as i stepped out of the bus i was again FREEZING!! We quickly went inside the school trying to get as much warmth as we could, at the same time we were curious. When we step inside we were immediately greeted warmly by the school's principal. I could see many art works when i went in and i was guessing that they like art a lot. As we walked in i was reminded in my head like before when our teachers told us not to speak too fast as they do not speak as fast as us and especially to speak proper English. We were walking to the hall as the principal was leading us from in front. We the people from Singapore were shocked to see the school. I was infact SHOCKED. really shocked. The hall was different from Singapore. VERY DIFFERENT. You would actually think that it was for to do sports or something, but definitely you would never think that it was the HALL.We sat down on the floor looking around us, seeing the kids playing.
I had the feeling they were really in to Sports. After about ten minutes, most of the students were gathered by the teachers and soon seated like us. The principal started talking about us and the fact that we came it was our turn to do something. Our school chinese and malay dance members danced us a song named ''Racial Harmony'' They immdiately clapped after the dance.
They had prepared us something to..........they sang us a song(their choir sang it to us) I could believe that they sang differently from our choir but i could not believe that the principal was the conductor!!! Finally we went to the classroom. My school buddy sat infront of me while i sat behind having 2 girls beside me named Holly and Shaynee. They were nice to me and greeted me politely and in nice way. They brought me around the school ,toilet, basketball court and more. We did many fun activities there and played poison ball with them. I was really greatful towards my buddies for sharing with me their food. We were about to watch a movie at the end, but our school said that it was LUNCH time and we had to go. I gave my buddy, holly, a keychain and thanked my other buddy. Luckily, she did not mind. Soon we were off after thanking the principal.

At last.LUNCH. We had burger with fries! The portion was really big though. It came with a drink.You could pick the blue or the brown one I picked the blue one and in the end my mouth was really blue! Even my teacher Mr Shafi's mouth turned blue!
We went the Caversham Wildlife Park!

Day 2

I did not knew that i would be living in such a big house until i reached there the day before. I actually thought that i was only going to live in a small apartment! That night was really a very cold night for me. My friends were freezing too. We wore super thick clothes that night. I was living under a same room as Wan Lin, Reanne and Jee Xuan. I was sleeping with Wan Lin in the same room and Jee Xuan was sleeping in the same room as Reanne. Luckily, there was an electric blanket installed under the blanket to keep us warm or else i think that i will freeze to death! The next morning we had to wake up for about 7am in the morning as our breakfast was at 8am in the morning, but right after the next split second when came out of bed, i was again going BRR! I had really wished that i could carry the electric blanket with me where ever i go. Finally, i decided to quickly changed into my super thick clothes in the heater bathroom. At least in there i did not have to say BRR again! After changing, i realised that i was the last one to change. When i was about to go out to the living room to have some water, my friends shouted at me, :Sandra! quick you would not believe this! and honestly i could not believe it as there were some geese(it is to me but i don't know what it is)wadding outside our house! Instead of just standing there i definitely took my camera and took pictures.

Finally, it was breakfast time as i was hungry after taking the pictures. As i went to the hall, i was imagining what would i be eating there. i was hoping it would be something good like McDonalds, or KFC but it definitely wasn't. Anyway the food was nice there.After eating, we immediatedly started on a game, called treasure hunting and making a nest for an egg to prevent it from breaking. [Image] After all the running about, we went for the sheep shearing. It was really fun there as we got to see sheeps being sheared. I learned that sheeps are sheared to make it into coats and sweaters. They are sheared to ensure cleaniness and tidiness.sheeps are sheared every once a year. People must be trained inorder to shear sheeps as it very dangerous as sheeps can bring you harm. A professional can take about 2-3 minutes to shear a sheep. If shearing 100 sheeps you may take about 5 hours to shear them.We went for animal feeding and we feed them with grains. After feeding the animals, we went on a talk on wine bottling.We saw the machines and the barrels. As we were walking back we got to feed the horses with carrots on the way.

Finally, it was dinner time and we got to eat scrumptous food! I seriously think the food tastes nice. But for the fact that we got to eat ice-cream at night was really unbelievable as it was really cold there at Perth, but we were in a room of heater at least. After eating ice-cream, we went out and our teachers started a campfire. We gathered aroung getting as much warmth as i could at the same time remembering how was the weather there in Singapore. haa, such memories...... We were each given a stick to stick our marsmallow but the muslims weren't allowed as the food was not ''halal'' We burnt our marsmallow in the fire before eating it but getting close to the fire was really not an easy thing. After singing a few songs we finally got to go back into our cabin, but definitely still have to do reflections and work. SOO TIRED!!!

Perth Trip

first day
I was very happy when i was selected to go on an immersion programme to Perth.It was planned by my school, Coral Primary School.On that day, i could not believe that i was going to Perth without my family members as it was my first time.I had to settle everything by myself! When i reached the meeting point, i could see many of my schoolmates waiting there as the teachers grouped us. I was in the red group. Some of my friends were in the same group as me like Lydia, Joh Ann, Jee Xuan,Liyana and Azlyna. I had my good friend as my buddy which is Jee Xuan!

We checked in our luggage as soon as we had taken our pictures. After checking in our luggage and getting our boarding pass, we entered the departure hall and soon took off to PERTH!!!Although i knew that i would miss my family members, i was still happy.

When we reached Perth it was early early in the morning. We went to the toilet to brush our teeth and wash our face as soon as we touched down and went through the Australia'.As soon as i step out of the airport, coldness overwhelmed me. I was freezing cold and could even see mist coming out from my mouth! We met our coach''trevor'', he took us around. He took us to the monumental hill to see it.

After taking pictures, we went to the Fremantle weekend market! The market there was interesting.We bought some stuff there like toy Kualas, food and more.After finishing shopping at the market, we went to the Chocolate factory! I was very excited as i loved chocolates alot and had never went to a Chocolate factory before. To my dismay, it was just a small Factory but i did not mind it as it does not matter to me as they gave free sample there!!! Honestly, the chocolate can be a little expensive but some of it was affordable and nice. In the end i join money with my friend to buy a small butterfly chocolate bar!

Finally it was Lunch time, we ate at Sweetlips(Fish and Chips).The amount of food they give was tremedous and nice.

We went to an Apricot Acres Fruit Orchard. They had many fruits there like the orange, grapes, cranberries, apricot and more...... They would dry the cranberries and it would turn into....RAISINS!!!

I learnt that the orange had only two kinds of breed!!!We saw the 5 processes the orange went through before it went for packaging. It was so cool! After that we tasted the dried cranberries. I had to eat it with the roots but it was very sweet and good!They sold their fruits but i did not buy it!I really regret it!!!

Finally when we were all tired we proceeded to the Orchard Glory farm for check-in. We had a scrumptous dinner at the farm. Luckily there was a heater. After that we finally have the pleasure to sleep peacefully.
